Updated!!

Well it has been a while since I have updated, so let me do a little now..

We have moved to Pleasanton, and things are going well, I am seeing an AMAZING new doctor, she is awesome, there was so much my old dr didn't tell me.. 

We got to do a sonogram and we are having a BOY!!!!!!

His name is Shane Bryan Gabriel Cantu. He is healthy and growing perfectly!

(i'm growing too! yikes!)

I am now 29 weeks.. so only 11 left!! 

This boy sure kicks and kicks!

22 Weeks

So here I am at a few days past 22 weeks.  My tummy sure is getting big!! My current doctor in Corpus is a little less then an idiot, so I still haven't had my 2nd trimester sonogram, so still no idea what we are having..


So this week our baby's sense of taste and touch is progressing.. Nice,  and since I KNOW the baby can touch things, this is what I've been feeling for about a week now..

And I am not exaggerating!

Half way there!

Alright! So this past Thursday (Aug 4) was my half-way marker! 2o weeks is going well for me! 

And man is that baby growing!

I haven't gained too much weight, so far about 3 pounds altogether.

I have another doctors appointment next Thursday (Aug 11) and hopefully he will let me have a sonogram so we will know what we are going to be having!!!

I am 17 going on 18.. weeks that is..

Well right now I am in the middle of my 17th week.. I am just getting bigger and bigger.. I've been reading that the baby's heart is finally being regulated by his brain.. And we went to the doctors office this past thursday, and the baby's heart beat was perfect, so that tells me our baby has a good brain =)

In week 18 the baby is getting bigger! Big enough to be able to start feeling all of his kicks and punches! I have been feeling lots of movements, like when he flips or twists or turns, and that alone is pretty exciting for me, but I can't wait for the defining movements!

We won't be able to find out the gender until September! But we are thinking about looking into one of those 3D sonograms that you can get at an outside place.  We'll see. We just want to know!!!!

Oh, and this is my week 17 baby bump picture! Just before the midnight showing of Harry Potter!! ((( And NO Brant, we won't name her Hermione if it is a girl!)))

16 Weeks!

Well I read that in 16 weeks my baby's ears are finally in place, since before they were on the neck, =/
and that means she can hear me now!! HAHA yay!  My favorite thing is to sing my favorite song, Pure Imagination, from Willy Wonka.   oh poor baby =)

 


Also the muscles are hardening especially in the back,  so some movement is getting easier to feel.  When I lay really still on my side I can feel a little roll or toss every once in a while, that is the coolest feeling ever. 

And dang! I have that baby bump going on..  Everyone notices now and it is so funny to see the reactions.  Less and less of my regular clothes are fitting but luckily we've picked up a few maternity clothes already. And some thanks to my grandma. 

I keep having terrible headaches and some cramps in my stomach, but I think that is the baby making room by moving all my organs around.  And man am I tired. =)

3 months and one week

Ok, so some people have been wanting to see baby bump pictures.. here is the first one..

First Ultrasound!

So this morning at 9am we had our first ultrasound! We got to see the beautiful baby growing inside me!

My official due date is DEC 22, 2011!  We won't know for another two months (in August) whether its a boy or girl..

What?!?

Well, on April 26th Bryan and I came home from seeing my family in Pleasanton and I just had the strangest feeling.. So I went to the store and bought a home pregnancy test.  The next morning when I woke up, I did the pee dance onto that stick..  And after three minutes I took a look, and it said + -! I just thought ok, wow,  (that meant pregnant!)  I walked out of the bathroom and told Bryan.. "Well baby, I'm pregnant."  He just looked at me and smiled and said "What?!"  Yep, that's how we found out!

And, we wanted to tell my family in person, so they got to wait another month until our next trip up there. 



They were so surprised... They wanted proof at first, then they cried, then they laughed and were happy.
